What tools do I need to install the LDS?
For assembly you will need an open-end wrench as well as the ability to secure your barrel against twisting during assembly.
What caliber is the LDS designed for?
The LDS can be used up to caliber .223 (5.56mm).
What material is the LDS made of?
The LDS is made of 42CrMo4 and then coated or treated with QPQ. This significantly increases surface hardness, wear resistance, lubricity, and corrosion resistance.
Can the LDS be used in conjunction with silencers?
No, due to its design, the HFH is not designed to be used in combination with silencers. In this case, we recommend our LINK system.
Does the LDS require a crush washer?
Yes, a compression washer is required for correct, twist-proof installation and alignment of the LDS. This is included in the delivery.
