Easy-to-install buffer tube retaining nut including end plate with central sling swivel mount. Our retaining nut seamlessly replaces the original retaining nut and allows for the attachment of a one-point rifle sling, for example, using a quick-release fastener. A sophisticated design with maximum added value. The end plate is made of high-strength aluminum, while the retaining nut and sling swivel mount are made of steel and then QPQ-treated.

What tools do I need to install the HERA retaining nut?
For assembly, a typical AR15 tool is required to loosen and reinstall the retaining nut. This is usually referred to as a "castle nut wrench."
Do any changes need to be made to my lower?
No, the retaining nut with end plate can be installed on the lower without any modifications.
Which weapons is the retaining nut compatible with?
The retaining nut was developed for AR15/M4 and AR10 series weapons. All receivers based on these systems are compatible with our Ambi Mag Release.
What material is the retaining nut or end plate made of?
The end plate is made of high-strength aluminum, while the retaining nut and sling swivel are made of steel and then QPQ treated.
Can the retaining nut be installed by yourself?
Yes, provided you have the technical knowledge, you can install the retaining nut yourself. However, we require that the safety function be checked by a qualified and knowledgeable person (e.g., a gunsmith).
