DESCRIPTION
The adjustable Hera AGS allows for adjustment of the gas pressure in a free-floating AR15 system. Especially when using reloaded ammunition or a silencer, adjusting the gas pressure can prevent unnecessary wear on the bolt and barrel and improve the hit pattern. The optimal setting of the adjustment screw is achieved using an Allen key. The second screw secures and locks the adjustment screw.

Does the AGS have a quick adjustment?
No, our AGS is designed to be calibrated to the weapon once to ensure continuous operation. There's no need for complex mechanics. Adjustment is done via clamping screws on the front of the AGS.
How is the gas pipe attached to the gas block?
The gas pipe is attached to the gas block by a thread that is additionally sealed when screwed in. This creates a sealed system that effectively prevents gas pressure loss at the transition to the gas pipe.
With which barrels or systems is the AGS compatible?
The AGS can be purchased for barrels with a diameter (in the area of the gas outlet bore) of both .750" and .936".
Can the AGS be retrofitted?
Yes, the AGS is compatible with all HERA AR15 and AR10 self-loading rifles as well as with almost all AR15 systems on the market with a direct gas system and a free-floating forend.
Do the AGS screws need to be secured?
For use with the AGS, we recommend Loctide 243 with a "Medium" holding force.
Can the AGS be installed by yourself?
Yes, provided you have the technical knowledge, you can install the AGS yourself. However, we require that its functionality be checked by a qualified and knowledgeable person (e.g., a gunsmith).
What material is the AGS made of?
The AGS is made of 42CrMo4. The gas tube is made of stainless steel.
