ABOUT US
The machining of our products takes place largely at our headquarters in Triefenstein. Here, all housing components such as uppers, lowers, handguards, rail systems, pistol stocks, etc. are manufactured using our own machinery.
Mechanical finishing such as vibratory grinding and robot-assisted glass bead blasting also takes place here. Our machinery here relies entirely on machining machines from DMG Mori AG. Firearms production and the assembly of various components also take place at our Triefenstein site.
HERA GmbH was founded in Lower Franconia in 2008. After just two years of business, we were able to expand into the European and US markets. In 2010, we became a GmbH (limited liability company), and in 2016, HERA LLC was founded in Salt Lake City, Utah. Originally founded as a small business, we now have more than 2,500 m³ of storage capacity at our US logistics center in South Concord Park, Bluffdale.
With our local manufacturing and production sites, our internal capacity totals over 7,000m³. To ensure our continued competitiveness in the future, we added a 7,000m² site in 2019, where we are continuously expanding.
In addition to our manufacturing capacities in the machining sector, we also have a strong polymer division. Here, we now produce products for the international market using over 42 active injection molds. Our consistent in-house development and our production location in Germany clearly distinguish us from the competition.
As manufacturing partners for our polymer production, we rely on regional partners in Lower Franconia. Our injection molds are stored, maintained, and used in production here. In addition to machines across the entire tonnage spectrum, we have a tool and mold shop and extensive development capabilities here, in addition to our internal capacities.
