DESCRIPTION
HERA polymer dust cover for the AR15 system. Includes an integrated spring for the folding mechanism and a bolt for tool-free installation on the upper. The HERA dust cover also features a plastic flap that transfers force to the upper, effectively preventing damage to the upper.

Do I need tools to install the Dusts Coves?
No, the dust cover was designed to be installed and removed without tools. The spring-loaded spindle for mounting on the upper receiver is already integrated. To install, simply push it in and place the dust cover in the appropriate position.
Do I need a separate spring to open the dust cover?
No, this is also integrated into the dust cover. This is also supported by a plastic flap that protects the top of the case from damage or scratches.
Which systems is the dust cover compatible with?
Our Dustcover 556 is designed for use in AR15 and M4 systems. All systems manufactured to Mil-Spec standards in this area are suitable for use with this dustcover.
In which colors is the dust cover available?
The Dustcover 556 is available in black, sand or green.
Is the Carbon or Camo structure also available in other colors?
No, the special structures are only available in black.
Can the Dustcover 556 be installed by myself?
Yes, provided you have the technical knowledge, you can install the dust cover yourself.
What material is the dust cover made of?
The dust cover is made of glass-fiber-reinforced and impact-modified polymer. The springs and snap fastener are made of steel.
